A Summer Day Print
Aside
Good Morning all,
As summer is finally here in Melbourne, we are in love with digital print skirts, of the beach, of the city, of any scape you can imagine its being printed with state of the art digital printing – this transferal of art meets fashion and the technological advancement of digital printing allows illustration a nice little spot on the clothing as opposed to just being a reflection of it. We cant wait to see more of them. ladies and men of melbourne, bring on those digital prints!

iCraftsmanship
This week has been a busy one, and with the creation of our logo for Divide & Nurture we simply had to blog about something pretty relevant to any artist/illustrator, that being how to work hand made into the digital space without losing that sense of craftsmanship.
The hand made process: Here at D & N we start every process off by being inspired by what is around us, then its pen to paper to visually document our illustrations. This is the most important part of what we do, and for us, where a large part of the craft is.
The digital process: We are graphic designers by trade, so the best way to bring what we have already done on paper is to work on it digitally – its a great platform to work from, and by mixing the hand made craft and digital you are able to really get the best out of what you are doing.
This is a logo in the working – its not there yet- but we are almost there! Simply impossible for application, but hey, we like it that way.
